New Device Support
Several new families of Logic, Memory and Micro devices are supported in this release. Here are the highlights:

ATMEL: Crypto memory series AT88SCxxx.
This Atmel series of devices are dedicated to security applications: Access control, asset protection, transaction privacy, and user authentication. You’ll see these devices designed into postal meters, set top boxes, and electronic ID tags for valuable computer equipment. ST Micro uPSD32xx , uPSD33xx , uPSD34xx microcontrollers

The uPSD series are popular 8bit microcontrollers. The update also includes STMicro 32bit micro device ST30F774.

Zilog Encore , Encore-XP , Crimzon ( ZGP and ZLP microcontroller ) Zilog has won awards for their low-cost microcontrollers used in consumer appliances, remote controls, vending machines, telecommunications controllers, home automation systems, spacecraft instrumentation, and industrial automation systems.

Important Changes to existing Device Support
The following devices have undergone changes in their memory maps. Users of these devices will need to create new jobs to programming these devices.

Philips PHL 87LPC series: – it is now supported with memory map same as device.
Texas Instruments MSP430Fxxx, MSP430Pxxx series microcontrollers: Support for these devices has been enhanced with faster programming times.

Zilog Encore-XP microcontroller support has been enhanced for erase function, so as to avoid NVDS memory erasure.

Microchip PIC16C5x microcontroller support has been corrected for their checksum when security is set. The users of these devices will need to check new checksum, if their old jobs running with security ON option.

Samsung S3Fxxx microcontroller support has been enhanced to include option byte programming.

ST Microelectronics ST10F272 microcontroller now has special function programming supported (write/access protection).

FREESCALE 9S12xxx microcontroller has been updated to include extra MARGIN verify without increasing the overall programming time.

FREESCALE MC68HC908Qx microcontroller has been updated. The factory programmed TRIM value will be saved during erasing.
